“Forging Connections: Metal Art Inspired by the Marine Carbon Cycle.” Solo Exhibit. Oconee Cultural Arts Foundation, Watkinsville, GA, September 27 – October 31.

“Homeschool Day with Barbara Mann,” October 24, 2025. Barbara Mann walked families through her exhibit, and explained how the carbon cycle and its connection to marine ecosystems inspires her work, as well as how she created her pieces. Her work aims to foster curiosity, motivate further study, and encourage protecting the marine ecosystem. Activities included a scavenger hunt, a live demonstration where she showed participants how to melt and pour silver into a cuttlefish bone to create a small-scale object, and a hands-on activity using chasing and repousse techniques on copper for participants to create their own piece of art.

OCAF Family Day, Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 10am to noon. Activities included a scavenger hunt, artist talk with Q&A, a live demo where Barbara showed participants how to melt and pour silver into a cuttlefish bone to create a small-scale object, and a hands-on activity using chasing and repousse techniques on copper for participants to create their own piece of art.
